Overview

Chewye Våz Ckez was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1122, by Aetina Waterfield Åxruqedrayd. The establishment of Chewye Våz Ckez was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Chewye Våz Ckez's construction back out of the project. Aetina Waterfield Åxruqedrayd pushed on reguardles, and Chewye Våz Ckez was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Chewye Våz Ckez was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chewye Våz Ckez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Chewye Våz Ckez is buildings have been located at convienant points along the cliff Chewye Våz Ckez was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the crampt paverstone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Chewye Våz Ckez's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Right off the bat Chewye Våz Ckez hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

Points of Interest

Chewye Våz Ckez has been cursed with some blight that makes life difficult, albeit not impossible. An offended sorcerer's vengeful Working, an outraged god's wrath, a local distortion of the Legacy, or a simple history of bad feng shui in the area may have brought the curse about. I(devise not only the curse, but the reason why the locals haven't left for better lands).

Chewye Våz Ckez is known for its well built pedestrian paths, which include foot bridges to cross the main street at several high-traffic areas.
